Walking on Glass
Increase the light in your room with some natural light pouring in through your new roof light.
We know that our capital city of London is very limited when it comes to space. Meaning that every time we get the chance to either increase our usable space or increase the light into the little space we have, we grasp at the chance. So how about something that can help you with both.
Walking on glass
In built-up areas, we find that the only outdoor space that might be available to us is actually on the roof! Whether your home is split at two separate levels, meaning that the lower part is a flat roof, or that your entire building is a flat roof, you can increase the light while losing no usable space.
Here at Natralight, we aim to help you make the most of your space, that's why we offer a walk-on rooflight. Made from hardened glass, we can install a new roof light, allowing you a great source of natural light, while allowing you to walk straight over the outside.
Walking on light
While they offer a source of great natural light into the room below, just like other roof lights, they also offer you the ability to walk over the top, unlike others. We find that some customers are interested in having a flat rooflight fitted to allow them that level of natural light into the room, however, it means that they lose a small amount of their usable outdoor space. This is where we highly recommend the installation of walk-on glass. Meaning that no matter how small your outdoor space is, you can use every single bit of it. Just remember to move anything that covers the glass to allow maximum light.
The external side of the glass provides a non-slip surface, making it safe to walk on even when there is a little rain to contend with, after all, this is great British weather.
